A Tesla employee claims a labor disaster occurred at the Gigafactory in Berlin

 According to a recent report by Wired, a current Tesla employee has come forward to express concerns about the situation at one of the electric carmaker's newest factories. The employee claims that the Giga Berlin plant in Germany is facing countless work-related issues and is in complete disarray.

Tesla's Giga Berlin is a relatively new factory that has not yet been fully developed. Tesla has faced all kinds of delays and adversities related to the factory since it went live. Not only were locals concerned about the environmental impact of the factory, but also that Tesla was moving into the home of its primary German competitors, which proved The American automaker is already able to sell amid fierce competition.
Tesla is facing an employment crisis
Regardless of the past or any possible related stories, the reported problems associated with the recruitment, hiring and retention of productive workers, this seems to be an issue in companies all over the world.
Even local companies in the United States have been posting hiring banners for months, but they are still suffering from a shortage of employees. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that it is simply difficult to find enough good workers these days.

However, Tesla employs a large number of employees in both Giga Berlin and Giga Texas, and hopes to have around 10,000 workers in each factory.

According to the anonymous employee in Germany who allegedly spoke with Wired, Tesla is struggling to fill job positions, and employees are leaving shortly after being hired.

And some of the workers who remain in their positions are often sick and seemingly unmotivated. An employee reportedly shared with Wired via Electrek, "Some people get sick longer than they actually worked. There are people I haven't seen working for 3 weeks in 6 months. Lots of people." People fall ill because the drive isn't there."
The exits include temporary employees and permanent employees who were there more than a year ago, hired before the giant factory opened, as they claim."

Tesla is heading to open the door for employment
Electrek notes that Tesla already has about 7,500 workers at its Gigafactory in Germany. The publication also notes only 400 open positions.
The electric vehicle manufacturer appears to have moved to hire staff from regions outside Germany, with around 10% of current employees living in another country, and many reportedly coming from Poland.
Tesla confirmed in October that the Giga Berlin was capable of producing 2,000 Model Y crossovers per week. The company didn't offer a more recent update, but the goal is to increase the number to 5,000 copies per week. The automaker hopes that will happen before the end of the year.
