The basis of worship is feelings such as love, fear, hope, a sense of submission, contentment, and trust, and the meaning of worship is that a person lives submissive to God with his heart and limbs.
All the pleasures and pains of this world are nothing compared to the pleasures and pains of the Hereafter, and the long years of life are nothing compared to eternity in the Hereafter, and the transition of a person to another life again is a dangerous and exciting matter, and despite that some people are not affected by their feelings, their concerns, their goals, or their lives except by the matters of the world. This is because they did not pay attention to the extent of the danger of life in the Hereafter, so these people are ignorant of the Hereafter, not because they did not hear about it or because they did not understand its meaning, but it is ignorance because they did not pay attention to the seriousness of the matter.
This ignorance leads to not being affected by the Creator and the Hereafter, so the inner acts of worship such as love, fear, hope, a sense of submission, contentment, and trust are absent.
It is natural that as soon as a person knows the existence of the Creator and the Hereafter and is certain of that, then the person’s view of things changes, so he sees things as they really are, and thus he sees the greatness of the Creator and the danger of the Hereafter and sees the weakness of himself and the meagerness of this world. Actions, emotions, joy, sadness, anger, morals, speech, intention and action at an angle of one hundred and eighty degrees.
But because we live in a time of heedlessness, many people do not know that mere true knowledge of the Creator and the Hereafter (with the presence of certainty) is a very dangerous and very influential matter to this degree. Hereafter they would have said that he is insane or retarded!, but they will know that when they find themselves standing on the land of gathering in the Hereafter.

There is no strong right but God and everything but God is weak, and the relationship between the weak and the strong is submission. Knowing God leads to man knowing his weakness and thus submits to God out of respect for God (for love of His greatness), fear and hope, and this submission is worship and is represented in four aspects: submission in The way of living is submission with the heart, submission with the limbs, and submission with the tongue.

There is a misconception about the meaning of ignorance of something, as many think that it means not hearing or not understanding this thing, but there is a third reason for ignorance, which is not paying attention to the seriousness of that matter, and this means that no matter how much you hear about the matter and understand its meaning, you are still ignorant of it as long as you do not You still haven't noticed it, and this kind of ignorance is heedlessness.
A person is ignorant of a matter if he does not hear about it, and he is ignorant of a matter if he hears about it but does not understand its meaning, and he is ignorant of a matter if he hears about it and understands it but does not pay attention to its seriousness. which is negligence.
The knowledge of some of the existence of the Creator and the existence of the afterlife has lost the third condition (attention) despite the fact that their certainty in God and the Hereafter is firm.

The impediment to realizing worship is man’s heedlessness of what he is certain of, for he is certain of the Creator and the Hereafter and the revelation of the Creator’s words to people on His Messengers, and he is certain that this world is small and fleeting and has no value, and that the true eternal life is in the Hereafter. Despite that, he does not achieve worship because he is unaware of the seriousness of what he is certain of. Love, fear, and hope, which are the basis of worship and the motive for it, are not realized, and therefore worship is not achieved.
The only way to achieve worship is to achieve true knowledge of God and the Hereafter with certainty in God, the Hereafter, and the Messengers, because knowledge of God’s names and attributes and knowledge of God’s commands we know from the Messengers.
